Default Unconnected wires

I am in the process of upgrading my 2013 HD V rod muscle with V mod pipes, K&N filter, and power commander V. I took off my passenger seat and front air box cover and noticed something odd. In both areas I noticed some wiring that end with a connector and are attached to nothing. It's not my battery tender line off the battery I know that much, but can't figure out what they may be used for. I'm sure harley uses a standard wiring harness between all V rod models to keep it simple. I don't have anti lock brakes on it or a security system that is the only thing I can think of that those wires may go to. Just curious if anyone can shed some light on this. Thanks!!!!

Those pictures are really small and i cant quite tell what the first one is. If that second picture is coming out of the right side of your bike towards the front, it is the data link connector. Used by the dealer to plug in and read the codes. Go to 1130cc.com, much quicker responses there.

Thanks for the help thus far roadrash3, I was beginning to worry I wouldn't get any replies. I know the one picture is hard to see, but maybe with a better discription you can help again. One the first picture next to my finger you see a gray wire connection, connected to nothing. It is a single red wire, and is a larger gauge than almost all the other wiring on the bike. I tested it with a test light and it gets power when in the run position. I tired to trace it back and I lose it about 2 inches from its termination point. It goes into a larger wiring harness and either goes to the front of the bike or turns into the fuse block in the back (no duh where else would it go).

The red connector to the left of my finger has 3 wires running to it. One has solid power, one has very dim power, and as near as I can tell the last is ground.

As for the 3rd connector I am going to test it and try and follow it soon.
I am going to insert a link to youtube so hopefully we can figure out what these are for.
