hey ya'll
hey all
been on bikes since i was a kid. on a harley for the last four years and no going back now. rebuilt my first sporster two years ago pretty much from the ground up. guy smashed it into a wall and destroyed every part but the motor and the frame. took four months of good garage time and beating my head against the wall, a little ameteur fabrication, luck and referencing hd xd forums to put it all together. just started working on my 74 ironhead basketcase. almost bought an 88 to stuff into it, but thanks to here, realized way too much work than it's worth. sticking with the original IH motor.
I know a lot of you guys have done and tried this. I'm open to all your ideas and tips. no need to learn from my own mistakes.
