New guy from WV
Hey guys, my name is Tom, live near Charleston, WV. Just picked a 2009 XL1200L Sportster yesterday. Bike is is good shape, only a bit over 4000 miles. This is my first Harley. Cut my teeth many years ago on crotch rocket bikes but now find myself, at 56, no longer able or willing to ride hunched over all day. Its been a few years since I've ridden so will be taking things slow for a bit until I get used to the bike and just riding again in general. This feels like a big heavy bike to me now but I expect that'll change as I get used to it. I'll be posting in the mod and performance threads eventually. Sold my drag car to get this scooter so very much performance oriented. Nothing I've ever had has survived unmodded for long so I doubt this will be different. Anyhoo, thanks for having me! Tom
