Hey guys, my name is Thad and I'm a biker without a bike. I'm going to be in the market soon I hope. I've had several sport bikes but only one cruiser, which was the bike I learned on. My fiance enjoys riding also, and I'm looking for something fun for me and comfortable for occasional 2 up riding. I have been looking at the 1200 sportster some. And of course, I have a few questions. I prefer a wider tank than what they come with, and also dual rotors up front. My knowledge of cruisers is very limited and harleys even more limited. Oh, and I like the smaller front wheel as opposed to the taller wheels. Any input or direction to a tech section is very much appreciated! I have been without a set of wheels too long and can't wait to get back in the wind.
Welcome to the H-D Forums from Idaho ! ENJOY !
The Sportster isn't much for 2 up riding. You need to get a little larger.
Head over to the chat forum & do some asking there. They should be able to help you a lot.
