I'm from Cedarburg WI and new to this forum as of today but not new to Harley Davidson. I'm a lifetime HOG member and have been riding Harleys exclusively for 35 years. Skipping the imports owned during a misspent youth, here the bikes in chronological order:
'80 FXE 74" Super Glide candy apple red bought new (sold in '94)
'50 FL 74" raked/chopped/unsafe at any speed, bought in '90 (sold in '92)
'95 FLSTN Nostalgia grey/black bought new (traded in '98)
'98 FLSTS Heritage Softail Springer black/red bought new (still own)
'09 FLHTCU Electra Glide Ultra black bought used (still own)
My son has a black '07 Sportster 1200C.
Originally from NJ, my break-in period was spent on the Super Glide roaming the pine barrens aimlessly or getting up at 3 to catch the sunrise in Cape May. I also commuted to work daily for about a year which is the last time I rode in the snow. I am admittedly now a fair weather rider and just getting into some light touring.
