So I'm new to the forum and as new as can be to the hobby. I actually only just yesterday put an offer down on a HD and it was accepted. I've wanted to ride for years now but just now decided to get into it.
The bike I'm picking up (next week after I get my Florida endorsement) is a 2012 883 Iron (pretty much completely blacked out) with 7,200 miles, for which I'm paying $6K. KBB value tells me it's worth about $6,940, so I figure I'm getting a decent deal considering the excellent condition it's in.
Anyway, I still need to buy pretty much everything from the boots to the helmet, so I'm looking forward to an expensive week (haha). Looking forward to learning a lot on the forum!
