Hi from the UK - I thought I had an account on here but it seems not so I've just registered.
I've been riding bikes since the mid 1970s - the first was a Honda SS50, followed by a number of two stroke Suzukis, a Yamaha DT175 and finally an old Honda CB250 in the late 80s before family commitments left no room for bikes.
At the time I'd always wanted a Triumph Bonneville and a Harley - both of which were a long way out of my reach in my teens and twenties.
Finally about four / five years ago I got back into biking and bought a Triumph Bonneville although I got bored with it fairly quickly and bought a Harley FLD Switchback.
Loved that bike but once I'd seen a Softail Slim I knew I had to have one at some point. Earlier this year I traded the FLD against a new 2016 Slim S which I expect to be my 'forever bike'.
