I'm the typical long time forum lurker but rarely post! I try and post if there are questions I can answer to help with mods I have done or issues I have encountered.
I own a 2009 Iron 883 that I have done a fair amount of work to. My first bike was a 1999 Honda CBR 600 carbed. Loved that thing and used to legally drag race it while maintaining it's street-ability. After that I bought a Yamaha Warrior 1700. I bored that out with some help from a neighbor. High comp pistons, tuned, heads, cams, etc. and I would drag race that as well.
Sold both bikes to pay for a wedding and since I have bought my little sporty. I really enjoy the bike! I always liked Harleys, just never could afford one. Now that I have one I just want a bigger, more expensive one. Someday I will own a street glide or similar bagger/fairing bike.
Anyway, I'm glad to finally be a Harley owner and I will always love working on bikes. I can never leave well enough alone!
