just joined - springer question
looks like a great forum.
I have a 07 springer classic. Here is a quick question.
I needed to service the bike after the first 500 miles due to the springer front end. Well, I changed the fluids myself, and checked the front end linkage, etc, to make sure everything was tight. I put approx 1500 miles on the bike, and now noticed that the springer front end is quite a bit more giving. Is this something normal? I have never ridden a springer front end. During the first 500 miles or so, the thing felt pretty rigid, but now it is getting a bit softer. Obviously it is broken in a bit. Again, since it didn't take the bike in for the initial service, I am not sure what I should expect. Any feedback would be appreciated.
