I've been browsing this site for a while now and just wanted to say that this site rocks!!! I've been deployed for about 10 months now and 2 great thing happend today. The Iraqis got a chance to vote for their first ever constitution and I finally made my mind up and ordered a 06 Fatboy for myself through the AAFES program. Is $17526 (before tax & tag) a good price? The price also includes 5 year warrenty, security, FI, and few other things. It doesn't really matter because I'm getting it no matter what but thought I'd ask.
You might call me crazy 'cause I've never had a bike before or have ridden one but I've always wanted one and it had to be a Harley. I'll be heading home in about two months but it'll be a while before I actually pick up my mike (end of March). I'll need that extra time to take the MSF course anyways so it ain't too bad I guess. I'm going to have many many questions for you guys and I'll start off with a first question.
My next duy station is Ft. Meade MD, can anybody recommend me a good dealer IVO that area? Thanks guys!
Welcome to the site and THANKS for what you're doing for our country. That sounds like a pretty good deal on the bike with the extended warrantee. It's great that you're taking the msf course too. Enjoy the forum too.
Wecome to the site and to the Harly Family! And, more importantly, THANK YOU FOR SERVING YOUR COUNTRY! They never would have had the opportunity for a new constitution if it weren't for you! Stay in touch and keep your chin up. Congratulations on the new ride, you're gonna love it!
Welcome to the forum, New Rider. Glad you found us and congrats on that bike. Also, stay safe over there and visit this forum whenever you can to get your mind in the right place. Semper Fi.
