I joined to comment about the leather vest post. I see some people talking smack about it so I thought I offer my insight on why it's actually important to ride with one during the summer. But i've also been a lurker for quite some time.
Little about me. Obviously from California, born and bred. Seems like everyone else is from elsewhere or they're ashamed to say they're from Cali, but it is what it is haha.
I just purchased the last of the Dynas. 2016 FXDB. Got back into riding after 15 years on hiatus. I originally had a 2000 Sportster which got wrecked. Got hospitalized by some guy who spun out of control and hit me head on. Lucky I made it in one piece, but that was part of my hiatus.
Now I feel the urge to ride the steel again. I also have a 2012 Challenger 392 that I drive daily, but my FXDB is gonna be my daily from here on up until it starts raining.
Anyway, just thought I introduce myself to you guys and gals and learn a thing or two from you all.
