I am not technically a new member, but I have not actively used this forum. I started riding to deliver newspapers at age 12 on a Allstate version of a Cushman Highlander. I have owned numerous Harleys, an occasional Ducati, Honda, and BMW, but I prefer tongue and V twins. Recently, I have been riding Buells, an XR100X, and H-D touring bikes, so I spent my Internet time on their specific forums.. I have worked part time and as a contact motorcycle instructor for my local H-D dealer off and on since my first retirement in 2002. I am now in retirement version 4.
It has been an interesting journey. I gave up track days several years ago. and I recently moved away from the heavy touring bikes and sold all of my bikes except one - looking forward to riding my new CY2018 Heritage Classic. I suspect my long distance touring days will be reduced, but I certainly hope to enjoy several more riding years. This will be my new forum home base. Thanks to the admins for all of your good work.
