I've been a member of the forum for about 6 years now I think, joined up when I got my first Harley (a 2002 Sportster) hence the name. Since then I have had a '98 Heritage Softail Classic, and several other non-Harley bikes, but what brought me back is just this past weekend I picked up a 2004 Electra Glide Classic (Peace Officer Edition). I have come and gone from the site, casually browsing for the most part, but with my most recent purchase I think I'm in it for the long haul, and thought it was about time I introduce myself and start making some posts on the forum!
I'm very excited to be back on a bike (especially a Harley), and hoping it is a short winter with some chinooks in-between so I can start enjoying this beauty ASAP! I was lucky enough to have some beautiful January weather on Saturday when I purchased it, 8 degrees Celsius (46 Fahrenheit), so half an hour into the drive home we rolled it out of the trailer and I rode it the remaining 150km home.
Looking forward to spending some more time here, and learning as much as I can from all the rest of you!
