I'm from MN.
And currently ride a '72FL Electra Glide... Love the Shovel, and not willing to part with it, but want another one, and so I'm lookin at these Dyna Street Bobs, their a damn nice scoot it seems for the price tag, and seemingly quite customizable.
But honistly, I can do a top end on a Saturday on my shovel, but dont know a damn thing about these dynas. So I have questions.
The rubber mounts... do they wear, weather, crack, tear etc??? Is replacing the rubber engine mounts considerd "normal matinence"? Whats intailed in replacing them?
The frame??? are all Dyna frames exactly the same? Like a super glide to a wide glide? Same frame??? everything inner changeable???
And the biggest question of all... Why so cheap??? I'm lookin at these street bobs, and although needs some retro-fitting of someaftermarket parts... all in all a fairly attractive scoot for the $ but a wide glide on the other hand is right up there with the softails... why is that? is the only diffrence between the street glide and a wide glide the front end, rear fender, seat 21" front wheel etc... seems to me you could modify any street glide to look like a damn cool wide glide with a diffrent tripple tree and rear fender
