Just bought my 1st Harley last month. It is a 2007 Electra Glide ultra classic . It says olive pearl but I see OD green. I like the touring for long rides but I want to take off the bulk for local rides. I took off the tour pack, lower fairings, and put on new seat so far. I have 12" bars an new cables an grips ordered. What I am having problems with are that the last guy had led lights ran (not working) aftermarket horn (not working) fuel gauge stays on full unless powered off. Radio isn't best shape and may need new speakers too. I am also looking for a way to take the license plate an move it to the brake light. (Which stopped working after I removed the tour pack) and I need passenger pegs and hardware for it. I do want to eventually get those quick detach options too When i got it New seat minus tour pack Wanting to get rid of this plate holder an relocate it down below the turn signals Where the passenger pegs were

Welcome from Spartan Country, Michigan! I tell a lot of new comers to the forum to get: Factory Service manual and the Parts manual. Get a three ring binder and record all your maintenance, repairs, accessories, etc. This will be a great reminder of what was done when. And great material to pass along to the new owner should you sell and upgrade. Also know how large your fuel tank is, and record your fuel usage. I have an app called Simply Auto that I record all my fuel used. I use the odometer and use the fuel gage as reference only. I reset the odometer to zero on fill ups, and I know I can safely get 200 miles on a tank on around town riding. Good Luck!!
