My name is John and I am new to this site. I am excited to be here and to use the community to learn. I have been around for about two
months reading and learning, and getting answers to my questions, and basically trolling. I have been riding for over 35 years, and
have always rode Honda's. I was looking for a used Wide Glide as this was always my favorite bike, until I found my new love. I bought
a 2006 Superglide 35th Anniversary with only 9500 miles. I found this at a dealership about an hour away. It was love at first sight,
and that is what I told my wife lol. This bike is in museum quality condition and all stock except about $1000 in LED lights all the way
around. It also came with the quick detach windshield and backrest with the rack. $7000 out the door and it is mine. They even threw
in the 10k service when I hit 10k. Love the bike and love the Dealership. Have been dealing with a Honda/Harley dealership about
15 minutes away for the last 30 years. I don't think they will miss me. I look forward to gaining much more info about the bike I bought.
As a side note, the cam tensioner and stator bolts have already been done and have the documentation on the bike from day 1.

I tell a lot of new comers to the forum to get: Factory Service manual and the Parts manual. Get a three ring binder and record all your maintenance, repairs, accessories, etc. This will be a great reminder of what was done when. And great material to pass along to the new owner should you sell and upgrade. Also know how large your fuel tank is, and record your fuel usage. I have an app called Simply Auto that I record all my fuel used. I use the odometer and use the fuel gage as reference only. I reset the odometer to zero on fill ups, and I know I can safely get 200 miles on a tank on around town riding.

I have the manual ordered and have already started a file folder, as I have with all my machines. That was one
of the reasons my Honda sold so fast is with all the documentation.Thanks again for the advise!

As I guess you know by now, we have a ton of stuff all over the place. And it really does not matter much what you are looking for, we likely have it. Like…technical and mechanical forum, Harley videos, forums by model, a section for just Road trips, regional areas, photos, excellent vendors of all kinds, a place to buy and sell bikes and parts, games, my goodness the list keeps on going…

We had a BOMB MAKING room but, well, ahhhhh, 1 of the guys just didn't understand Blasting Caps very well so..... you know.
