My new ride
Hey folks. Have learned some good info here so far. I just bought myself a new 07 Road King Classic. My question is, after the initial 1000 mile service, do you HAVE to have your services done by the dealer?

Welcome and congrats on the new Road King--I just bought myself one, but it's not home from the shop yet; its getting all the good stuff put on it. So, I patiently(yah right!!!!) wait.
The answer to your question is no--just as long as the job is done right, and keeping all the receipts helps too.

nope you can do your own, just save receipts for oil and filters and document all your service really well
