Its been a long time....
Between riding and work, getting hurt in a serious slip and fall accident, recovering from that and two subsequent surgeries, getting back in the saddle and riding has been a challenge to say the least.
In 2019 I bought a 2001 SE Road Glide with a matching Hannigan hack. It needed a bit of love both mechanically as well as cosmetically.
I took care of the mechanical issues first, then rode it, as well as my other bikes for a bit.
Last November, I blew out my back and just recently had my MRI done, and battled with the back pain since. Still waiting on my PCP for follow-up on the read.
I saw a few articles on the 2023 Highway King with the Champion Sidecar.
A brief search uncovered a couple for sale... a Magenta in Alaska ($65k), and a HiFi Orange in California ($83k)
So I looked further... and found a HiFi Orange in Florida. With a little over !000 miles
Buying the bike was easy enough. getting it here is a different story!
