-Good Evening Everyone. My name is Tom Mellett and I am a new memeber from Philadelphia, PA. I ride a 2000 Sportster S. I have done a few (typical) mods: Samson Cannons, Screamin' Eagle A/C kit, jetted. I have a blast on this bike running with my boys on their BigTwins. We were out tonight here (50 degrees) and the bikes were running great. The bike kept wanting to spin the rear tire, i love when it runs like that.
-Anyone know where I can get an inexpensive (new or used) 19" or 21" lChrome laced fro nt wheel that will except the dual front brake set up from the Sportster S? I just put a deal together to get a Chrome Solid Rear Wheel and would like to ditch the front xast wheel as well. Anyway, I'm happy to be a new member here and I look forward to chatting and hopefully riding with some of you soon. Anyone in the Philly Sout Jersey area drop me a line anytime you want to get out for a ride. tom.mellett@verizon.net
-Also, I on a small mortgage company here in Philadelphia, anyone needing a mortgage or refi for a PA property drop me a line, I'd be happy to take care of you.
Take care,
-Tom
Welcome aboard Tom. I am pretty new to this sight but love chating while I wait for my new Road King to come in. Weather here is in the teens right now day time in the upper 30s. So I can wait for another 45 days to get my bike.
Welcome again.
Welcome to the forum. Keep an eye peeled on eBay for Sportster goodies- sometime e-mailing a person selling a similar item can turn up what you are looking for!
Welcome to the board, Tom. You want inexpensive HD parts? HA!!! I've built a couple of bikes and when I was looking for cheap stuff the best place in the Philly area is Nick's Custom & Motorcycle Salvage in Williamstown, NJ. Give 'em a call.
Howdy Tom and welcome to the forum. I bet that it was interesting riding your Sporty with your friends that were on the Bigtwins. Hope that you have a lot of fun riding and chatting here with the rest of the Harley lovers.
