Hello all. I have a1976 xlch sporster starts 2 or 3 kicks cold runs good. let it run for 5mins shut it off kick it 10 to 20 times give a little gas throttle let off a little back fire sometimes when i'm trying to restart it won't start let it set for a 1 to2 hours it may restart sometimes if I'm lucky.I have try everthing I know from going through the repair book.I have replace the plugs,plug wires,points,cond ,coil,battary, took carb apart clean reset float anythe beast
Hey if you take it out you have stop on a hill and pop stars it or kick 30 times and maybe you can start it. I have replace plugs wires,points,cond coil, battery.reset carb float .
