New to the on road bike world. Road some off road in the past. Picked up a 2002 Night Train from a buddy. Offer I couldnt refuse as it was pretty much a bike that just fit, heck of a deal and only had 3200 miles on when I picked it up. He was a cop training to be a detective and never got to ride it.
Had to put some new pegs on as the heel rest on the original ones was stripped out and kept ticking me off when they would fall down when I would ride. Swapped out the original signal lenses for smoked ones. Not too keen on the Arlen Ness pipes, they burn the ankle of anyone riding...not good for a single guy.
I have a set of Vance & Hines big radius pipes on order.
Trying to get in as much riding as possible before the snow flies up here in Wisconsin. Already have quite a few ideas while it sits for the winter. Trying to figure out what sort of bars to put on. I like the look currently but I would like to get them pulled back a bit and stand a little higher than the tank, right now the brake lines hit the tank.
