Hi newbie here

I've never ridden a motorcycle before, but I really want a Harley. Where should I start ?

Look for a dealer nearest you. Find a bike fits what you want, see if the price is affordable and hang around this site for info from the rest of us.

I did try and start a conversation with some of the HOG riders at a local meet recently, I did get a few phone numbers but no advice on which Harley to get. My CBT is on monday.

Best bet would be to test drive some at your local Harley Rental site. It'll give you a good idea on what bike fits you best. For instance if you are 5 feet tall and 110 lbs then a Ultra Classic probably isn't for you! Like the rest of us here, browse the forums and ask some questions. You've come to the right place. But I'm really worried it might break down in the first 100yds. My boyfriend recons I'm just trying to 'buy into an image' still i got a few phone numbers. result :-)
