Default forward controls or highway pegs?

Hey folks, I have problems riding long distances on my sportster low because my butt is pressed too hard against the back of the seat and my hips get sore and sometimes cramps while riding long distances on it. I found out there is no way to move the seat back so I changed the angle of the handle bars and am wondering what would be the better combination for comfort and handling? Forward controls or my regular center controls with adding front highway pegs to rest my legs on while on trips? Thanks, I really hope to get something comfortable worked out by summer for several trips but I wonder if forward control will make it handle different and if they will be as effective or more effective to releive the pressure on my butt and hips from having my feet so close on this low rider.

Keepthe mid controls. Get the lowrider highway pegs from harley and add a T-bar highway peg and you got three positions. Luved the setup on my dyna. Good luck.

I have the mid controls on my street bob and highway pegs mounted foward. This gives me the option of using either set on long rides. I will at times also use the passenger pegs to change up my riding position.
Really, I guess that your height will vary your needs.

Just picked my first forward control bike and I really like them. I do find them more comfortable then the mid mount controls... Good luck with whatever you decide.
