Just stumbled onto this site and after poking around.....I love it!! I own an 84 fxrt and tossed all the bags, pipes and fairing and returned it to a hot little fxr. I'll post a pic down the road. New paint this spring and polishing engine too. BTW, anybody have any recommendations on what to look for and/or expect from somebody polishing up anodized aluminum. Thanks!!

Welcome to the forum, Alan. That 84FXRT was an outstanding bike in it's day, for some reason they didn't catch on to good, but I loved them. My buddy still has one, but like you, took everything off. Anyway, good luck with what ever you do and ride safe.
