I am looking for non-partisan facts & opinions about customizing my scooter. I have been looking for detachable saddlebags, engine guards w/highway pegs & exhaust info. I know everyone here has experience with these items & customizing in gereral. Please help & all info is welcome. Thanks
I have had bikes with and without saddlebags. They always seem to come in handy and I missed them on the bikes that didn't have them. And although the bags I had were detachable, I only took them off, occasionally, to clean the bike.
I don't personally care for obnoxiously loud pipes. I just want some that look good on my bike. I want the Harley 'potato' sound, but want to be able to hear my iPod on long trips.
I agree with 07yellowglide. Make the bike your own.
