Hey all, New to the forum and relatively new to the HD clan. Rode dirt bikes a bunch growing up and last year got the itch to ride again, this time on the street and had been admiring Harleys for years so it was an easy decision. Took a bit to convince the wife that something bigger than a Sportster would be best even for a first bike and when she gave the nod to a new ’07 Super Glide Custom in pearl black last July I wasted no time. Over the rest of the summer I put in over 1500 miles most of which with my daughter or my wife on it and we enjoyed every one of them. I have already started making it mine by adding a sissy-bar (don’t let my wife hear me call it that) backrest and rack, a sundowner seat, layback plate and relocated the turn signals. Also added some chrome flame covers and pegs. I have plans to do a bunch more as I’m sure most always do.
Originally hail from Oregon (Go Beavs!!) Now I am in the Army stationed in Missouri but currently doin time over here in Iraq. Cant wait to get back home and do some more riding and customizing.
