Non- Harley Owners
Personally I friggin tired of people posting here that dont ride HD. No matter what their intentions are the threads seem to pick up speed and detiorate rather quickly. All to the chagrin of the squid that starts it. Maybe if we ignore them they'l dry up and go away. With that thought in mind I, for one, am not going to add to any post on the forums put here by some jerk-off riding a NON-HD product. just my 0.02
I kinda agree with you, except I just hate to act arrogant because of what I ride, and I do like the viewpoints of others, as long as there is some true dialog going on. It just seems that every time someone seems genuine, they end up setting us up. That Victory guy was a good example. He wasn't interested in discussing motorcycles or road trips, he just wanted to see if he could **** us off, and I for one, let him do it.
I guess I will reserve any responses to non HD, and see how the thread goes before getting involved.

Bill
It seems as though the non HD riders have a massive chip on their shoulder and have to spend their efforts trying to bring down HD's with the hope that it will elevate their own rides. I have owned HD's, European and rice burners and every minute I was without a HD I was in misery (no, not missouri...). I do get sick and tired of non HD riders talk about all the leaks from HD's, the uncomfortable ride and terrible vibrations.... They just can't admit they screwed up and didn't get a HD.
First of all, they have to understand Harleys don't leak, they mark their territory.
Second, comfort is a personal issue, we are all built different, and my Harley feels, to quote Billy Crystal, "Marvelous".
Harleys don't vibrate, They Throb.
I like that one. You could see the guy came in lookin' for a fight....smooth until the first rub- then pow. It takes all kinds- I guess the problem is that the name is a conflict for what we do here. We do Harley- and to try to twist that to another label- American V-Twin or otherwise is opening the door to others who want to make sport of the name vs. true interersts. I enjoy all pleasant people who ride, and I do have a problem with a$$holes- regardless of what they ride- PERIOD!
End of story..

yea, I agree - if they want to be civil, friendly, and just want to relax and chat, that's one thing, but if someone comes along again like this last one, as soon as they start to throw stuff, I'm just staying away from it - they're not worth the time & effort
