New HDForum Poster with an Intercom Question
Hey all,
Just joined HDForums and wanted to give a shout out from CA.I'm completelypsyched as Ihave finally purchased my dream bike in the form of aHD ElectraGlide Ultra Classic. Been riding for many years and always promised myself I'd get one beforeI"punched". Finally did it and I'm blown away with the ride and feel ofan HD.
If I completed everything correctly in my profile, it should appear in my signature below.
I'm upgrading from a 2005 Yamaha V-Star Silverado and man, can I feel the difference.
Onto my question...can anyone provide me some feedback on the performance of the intercom system thats integrated into the Advanced Audio System on the FLHTCU. I have not used it yet as I haven't mounted the boom mike onto my helmet yet. I'm wondering what the quality of the duplex audio is. I've used after market products before and really wasn't too impressed. I'm hoping this intercom system on my Electra Glide outperforms the product I used before.
Any info/feedback/experiences with this intercom system would be appreciated. Thanks!
