Well ... I made it. It is almost too surreal. I'm 52 next month ... I had a little 500?Honda in college 30 yrs ago and loved it. Got caught in the cyclone of life and next thing you know, I've got a fantastic wife for 20yrs, 2 great kids (college bound in a few years) ... but my dreams of a moto have always been beaten down ... until a couple weeks ago when I got my second bike ... a new Nightster. Sure, she's stripped down right now but I'm gonna begiven hersome saddlebags, pillion (sp?) & sissy bar, hwy pegs ... plus I gotta get some good boots cause my Oakley's are getting eaten up.
Anyway, seeing I hadn't riden in 30 yrs I had her delivered ... took her out in secs around the hood and it all just came back ... like the old saying, "just like riding a bike". Been riding to work and round town (can't wait to start tourin)... (surprisingly) the weathers been good here in A2. Will be taking the Harley class next weekend to be fully legal ... but man, this bike makes me feel like I was born to ride!!!
Looking to ask a lot of questions here and lookin for much direction on doing it right. Have a nice day!! TIA!
