9 deaths in 6 months. Ilive in a town of 200,000. To date we have had 9 deaths \\;from accidents. 2 crotch rocket riders. 7 on harleys. Latest was a rider on new dyna model who had scoot for 5 weeks run down but 18 yo girl on phone at 8:30 am. Another was a rider on Ultra who was a 55 yo bandito with over 30 years riding experience. Run down by young woman at 3pm. she was drunk he was leaving his AA meeting. She ran over him then backed back over him trying to run Only 2 involved riders drinking both ran off road at high speeds.

Guys think about your riding, watch out \\; for everything, stay sober, take the riders class. If riding is just a hobby for you learn all you can as quick as you can.

It's one thing to live on the edge, but it's quite another thing to do it with \\;your eye closed..............don't let yourself get caught RWHUA..............(if anyone needs translation, just ask) \\;
A good reminder, but I wouldn't just direct it at new guys. This week we had a guy on a Goldwing rearend a truck that was making a U-turn. He was DOA, 60 years old and 30+ years riding. The same day I watched another truck pull out in front of a bike and a semi. The semi took the ditch and the bike stopped about 12" from the driver's door. \\;
