Hey there, I joined HDF recently and don't know how to get started. I poke around here when I get a chance and will learn the hard way. I own a '06 Road Glide I just got in Jan 06. A little about my riding career:
Previous bikes I've owned are, '79 FXEF bought used in '81 (30K of my miles), a '97 FXSTC bought new (57K miles), and just traded in a '98 Road King bought new (70K miles).
All together I've rolled up over 150K miles. I've been a HOG member since the beginning #9925, I've been a AMA member for 21 years. I've ridden in every State East of the Mississippi. I've lived in the Jacksonville area of Florida for the past 12 years, before that in Pensacola for about 16 and in my previous life I grew up in RI until I joined the Navy.
My wife of 25 years rides her own '96 Electra Glide Standard since '97 and has logged over 50K miles so far.
I don't claim to know it all, I've enjoyed riding for many years and plan on it for many more to come. This is my first Twin Cam and first fuel injected model so I'll be looking for some info down the road. I've bought a set of S&S slip ons and had them on for a few miles to try them out. I like the quieter sound so I can hear my tunes down the road but want the performance. I won't put them on until I get the SE intake kit and the SERT tuner.
Catch ya in the wind.....
