I'm Russell (aka "Dawg"). Just joined tonight. Been riding since 1979 or so, but didn't get my first Harley until 2002, an '03 XL1200C. Finally, last May I got me a new '07 Road King Standard. Now, that's me!! Still got the Sporty, but everytime I get on it, it's almost like I forgot how to ride that thing, LOL. What a difference. Got the King new so I won't have to worry, hopefully. Healthwise and spacewise I'm not up to doing much work except for basic maintenance, ya see.
Anyway, glad to be here. Hope to learn some and help if I can.
Hey man welcome, I am here in Lexington. If I can get the loan peeps to hurry up I will have my ride soon after x-mas. Post up some pics of the bike and hopefully we may be able to get together sometime and ride a bit. Lots of good folks on here. enjoy, and welcome from a fellow carolinian!
Howdy over there in Lexington. I gotta work on the pic thing. Computer dummy, ya see. But eventually I'll learn how.
Glad to hear you're getting a bike. Hope all goes well fer ya. Lemme know. I don't get to ride like I used to, but still do a good bit. (Getting old ain't for sissies, lemme tell ya). Used to ride full-time. I'm pretty much a lone biker these days, not many events, one or two buds. Perhaps we can meet up when you get going. Ever go to the Barnyard?
Wow, thanks all, can't seem to keep up with you all. And a hearty greeting back to you every one.
My wife's gonna kill me for starting this. I'm already on two astronomy forums and probably spend too much time at the keyboard. But I love doing it. This is my first motorcycle forum. Just got a computer back in March, so forgive me if I'm not so good at it sometimes. Lots to learn.

Thanks for the greeting.

Actually I have a few times. We got my wifes leathers there and will go back there and get mine once I get my bike. We got hers early because they only had one set of her size in what she wanted so we secured those. We deal with Bernie up there. I actually just bid the HVAC on Sam's house. He is building a very nice place about 4200 sq ft. over in west columbia. Very nice place he has at the barnyard. nice leathers at very affordable prices.
