Hey guys, love the forum....My name is Scott and I live on the beach in NC. Just picked up my first HD today from a friend who said "take it home with ya". It's a 1966 FLCH, he said. It's got opposite foot controls which is really weird! He told me to take it home, tinker around with it, and if I want to keep it, we'll work it out. So needless to say, it's in my garage! I've got a trickle charger on it now and will try to fire it up in the morning. Apparently it was running last summer before it was parked in a barn and left!......This thing is definately a rat which I love! It's got a kick start only, which I've never even tried before.....any tips? I'd love to get this baby frappin'! If I do decide to keep it, I'll probably throw on some apes, lose the front fender, get new whitewall tires, and rattle-can that bitch flat back or primer gray! Oh yeah and a friend said he would give me some drag pipes! Since I am SUPER new to Harleys, any help/tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much guys!
