synthetic oil

[8D] Have a 2000 Fatboy with 88B engine had second oil changed and had tech put in Redline 20 w 50 synthetic oil and he put in four quarts is this the proper amount and like some feedback from anyone else using synthetic oils.

Be sure and check your oil. I think that the 88B uses 3.5 qts with a filter change.

Check your owner's manual for the exact amount. Not sure if you're asking this or not, but it doesn't matter whether you are using synthetic or petroleum based oil...

It takes three and a half quarts like said earlier,

He probebly charged for the fourth becouse he used half of it but check level anyway.
