Hi everyone, a newbie from Oregon joining the fun. I’ve been lurking and researching these forums for a while, so it seemed like a good time to register.
I’ve got a 2006 Ultra with 28K miles. Picked it out last year after being off two wheels for about 20 years. She’s pretty much stock for now except for EFI, SE slip-ons and some ‘bling’. After canyon carving and mountain riding with some friends at the recent Hell’s Canyon rally (Baker City, OR, http://www.hellscanyonrally.com/ ) I decided I needed a power upgrade – the guys I ride with both have newer 96” with EFI and exhaust upgrades, both with Rineharts, one slip-ons the other true duals (love that sound)
Mine’s going into the shop next week (parts are on order now) and I’ll be getting a 95” upgrade with SE 10.5:1 pistons (manual compression release), SE Pro super tuner, 203 cam, and Rinehart True Duals. I’m supposed to pick it back up before the 4th of July weekend, so I’ll post my dyno results in the Touring section when I get them…I’m really looking forward to that upgrade; I think I’ll have a bit of an edge on them
Here’s some pics (hopefully).

USN 1980 – 1984 USMC 1988 – 1994 1st Gulf War Veteran (can you believe that was almost two decades ago?) Last bike: 1984 Electra Glide Classic, first year for the EVO engine if I recall correctly
I have an '06 SG with the 95" kit and stage II. Other than the 6 speed, it feels like a 96" to me or better. I've ridden the '09 and I think my bike could take it. You'll love it!
