IM GOING FROM 88CI TO A 95", HEAD WORK, SE H/C PISTONS, ADJUSTABLE PUSHRODS, AND AN S&S 570 CAM. GEAR DRIVEN OF COURSE. I SHOULD HAVE IT BACK IN ABOUT A WEEK. I CANT WAIT!! MY QUESTION IS. WHAT ACUALLY GIVES THE MOTOR THE MOST SOUND CHANGE? OH, I FORGOT TO MENTION I HAVE THE "THUNDERHEADER EXHAUST" SE AIR KIT AND POWER COMANDER.
IS IT THE CAM, AIR FILTER, HEAD WORK OR WHAT? JUST CURIOUS. AND WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS BUILD? I DONT KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT!!

When you change the cam you change the lift and depending how radical your cam the more change in the sound of your engine. More chuga chuga. Have you ever heard those hot rods that sound like they are getting ready to die if you don't keep your foot on the gas pedal?
Of course the biggest change in your sound will be that Thunder Header! Going from vroom vroom to VROOM VROOM!(LOL).
