Default Finally riding again
Just picked up a new pearl black Street Glide. I rode nothing but bikes when I was younger and had a pretty bad crash on my 71 shovel hard tail(half brake on a girder and mechanical drum rear that snapped it's linkage). Won the race, lost the bike. Anyway that was in 84 and life happened after that... I swore not to get on a bike again until I got another Harley. I've been missing that part of my life for too long and now it's great to be back riding. It is my daily driver and thanks to living in California most of the year around I'll be on it. This looks like a really good forum.

Thanks. Definitely riding safe. I'm a different person than I was back then. Still like adrenalin but I like living more. The wreck made me to reevaluate how I was living and working. Actually I'm the plant safety manager now and have always made it a priority when I was in the military and later in industrial jobs to make sure that people who worked with or for me always went home in one piece.
