I'm just getting back into biking after a 15 year hiatus. I sold my last Harley when I moved from Iowa to Nebraska, swearing I wouldn't buy another one until the helmet law got revoked or moved to a more intelligent state. I finally gave up and Nebraska wins. I'll wear a helmet as long as I'm on this side of the Iowa border.
I just bought a 2008 Fat Bob. I've already got a number of winter projects for it underway. I'm beginning to strip it down and update the suspension. I also plan on replacing the rear fender with the 2010 Wide Glide fender. I'll be putting the whole rear Fat Bob assembly up for sale or trade in the Dyna parts section in the coming weeks.
Welcome to the forum from a South Carolina gray beard. Great choice on the bike.Glad you've got a prodject 'cause you've got a bunch of winter to go. Ride safe. Beezy
