Hello from Boise! Here I go about to sound typical... I've wanted a Harley for a long time. I'm 41 Camaros have been my vise for years. Now it is time for a Harley.

I grew up in Michigan lusting after my Uncles 56 Panhead which he had owned since new. The summer of 97 I went back for a visit and told him if he ever decided to sell to let me know. In 98 he sold it, I didn't find out until after. Bummer. The local HD dealer had been hounding him for 20 plus years to sell it to him. Well he gave him a good price.

I've been a fan of the softail lineup. Especially the Fat Boy's since the early 90's. They seem to be everywhere nowadays.

anyways I've got a lot to learn. That is why I'm here.

I'm intending on buying used. Seems like a good time pricewise. Just gotta get my spec's facts down and decide. Like engine new vs older. Was it 99 or 2000 the evo went away. I'm currently leaning 90-98 Fatboy.

thanks folks
