1st Harley
My first running motorcycle I bought when I was 14. My parents were away for the weekend, so they couldn't say no, it was a Honda CB160 twin. Cost me $50, I still have a scar on my chin from that one.
My last bike was a really nice BMW R1100RT that I rode for about 10 years. I've also owned a 1987 CBR 600(rode it for 14 years), a 1981 GL1100 Gold Wing, a 197? Yamaha DT250, a 1982 Suzuki GS450 and a 1972 Honda CL450 at one point or another.
The BMW was a great bike, it had Ohlins suspension and I could chase down sport bikes in the mountains if I wanted to. But my legs were locked into one position and would cramp up on long rides.
I mostly ride to work and around town these days (with my 7yr old daughter as passenger) and the Harley is better at slow speeds, has a lot more room to move around on and the torque is a lot of fun.
