New member here. Hello and good to meet ya. I've been reading through the site for about a month now and I have seen a lot of good info.
We just sold our 99 Sportster (1200c) and bought a brand new Softail custom. There is just something about the look of chrome on black with black paint. My tastes don't seem to change much.
This is the first new bike for me, and I can't say how excited I am. Here in northern IL, the weather just started to break but we still need a good couple downpours to get the roads cleared a bit.
I got to know my Sportster pretty well over the years, but there are some things about the softail that are definitely different. The biggest thing for me will be the EFI. Its not something I've ever messed with or have much knowledge about.
Anyways, hello again and I look forward to being a member here.
