Harley heritage softail
Hi All
Just joined the HDForums. I have always ridden metric bikes, but up in the Northeast Kingdom, Vermont almost everyone rides HARLEYS.
The scenery and the roads around the White and Green Mtns are breathtaking.
With that said, my buddy Dave and I went looking for a HARLEY. We quickly learned that HARLEYS are not cheap!! We decided on the Heritage Softail model.
Hopefully we made the right choice.
If I can figure out how to attach photos of these bikes to a post I will send them.
Our wives are waiting to go for a ride when we get familiar with them.
Both bikes have "screamin eagle" slip on pipes, so I guess I have see if they have updated air cleaners and are mapped?? Hopefully there will be posts that explain how to improve the performance of a 2002 HD Softail with "fuel injection".
