Hey all, Long Island checking in
My bikes...
1960 Pan

1975 Shovel

1987 FLH

1978 XS650

2007 Suzuki (for sale)

I like motorcycles.
The suzuki is cool for what it is but lacks something. I always likened it to driving a Volvo (no offence to Volvo drivers). It works, is practical, quiet, smooth, and well....uninspiring.
The old Yami was my Dads bike. He bought it new in 1978 and would set me on the tank (at 4 yrs old
Dad passed away this past April and I inherited the electra. Finally moved on to bagger life. lol Gonna ride the wheels off the thing in his honor. RIP Dad!
The shovel is my first swingarm bike. And it's my "birthday" bike. We were both made in 1975. Been reliable and fun. Rode it to Laconia 3 or 4 times. Always made it there and back. Sure it leaks a bit and is relatively slow but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Finally the pan. Had it 10 years now and is my favorite in the stable. had a wacky gooseneck frame when I bought it. Stripped it down, found a mystery frame to throw it in and rebuilt it in my living room. The night before my first trip to New Hampshire. Learned alot about comfortable seats, hydration, and good directions on that trip! Maybe I'll post something about that trip in the other section.
So that's it. Hope you like my harem of motorcycles.
Be safe,
Kevin
