A month back I bought a 2006 Deluxe,little did I no the 2007 would be out with a 96 ci 1,584 cc and a six speed transmission.
I have not rode my bike lately only in between rain storms here in south florida.I have under a hundred miles on her with $2800.00 in custom parts.
My question is how much of a hit will I take if I trade her in on a new Deluxe.
If the salesman would have told me the 07's would be coming out with new changes I no I would have waited since this is my first Harley.
Count on about 4-5k if you trade it. They don't really care about your custom parts, so I would take them off and go back to stock.
You are much better off selling privately if you must go this route.
You can have more power for a lot less money though by just upgrading your motor.
