I have been riding around on a BMW K1200S for a number of years now and am making a switch to HD (my wife is ecstatic).
I have been considering either the FB Lo (in the denim black) or a RK. I had been leaning towards the FB but after talking with my brother in law who owns both a FB and RK as well as reading these forums I think I am now leaning towards the RK.
Has anyone heard if there are any significant issues with the 103 engine in the 2011 classic? A buddy thought he read that it was having a few problems.

nothing to my knowledge on the 103's... just a 96 with bigger jugs.
IMO so far the power pac doesn't seem like that good of deal. Heard it dosen't have cams with it.. For the 2k U can build up the 96 with the 103 bb kit and end up with more HP and TQ.. just me..

welcome from north carolina, no issues with 103 other than heat. Bigger motor, more heat, but there are plenty of things you can do to solve this problem.
