I am here at last!!!!
A little word of wisdom for someone else thinking about it. When I finally thought I could buy a street bike (wife gave me permission) I tried to be practacal and buy a less expensive practical bike. After waiting so long I just didn't think I could actually get a "Harley". Bought the ST1300, great bike, if you like that style, but two weeks after, I found myself trying to justify the purchase of a Honda instead of what I allways really wanted by telling myself it was cheeper, it's practical, it's ok, but it's not a Harley. It just wasn't right for me, found myself trying to fit in with that crowd, and that bike style. The old square peg in a round hole. Never comfortable, never felt right. Kept trying. Then, when the wife tried to take a couple of trips with me on it, it really didn't feel right. She wasn't fitting that smaller cramped seat, I didn't fit with her on the back....it just wasn't us.
Well, the ST has a new home now, new owner loves it, he was allways a sport bike rider. And us, LIFE IS GREAT ON A HARLEY!!! Wife fits, I fits, my little girl fits, and I'm throwing fits!
Lets Ride!!!!!!
