Just joined. Great info here. Originally from South Africa, getting into riding in US. Recently bought an EGC, looking forward to riding some of the US routes.

Welcome from SoCal. I'm a refugee from Massachusetts (used to work in Newton, lived in Arlington and Watertown, and moved here from Springfield 13 years ago). Your riding season must be over now, but next spring, try Mt Greylock and the Mohawk Trail (Rt. 2) in western Mass.
