Hello from Iraq...I am currently serving in Northern Iraq as an active duty USAF member. I will be returning to my new duty station in Cocoa Beach FL in a couple of months and plan to buy my first HD not long after I get back. As of now I'm a big fan of the Deuce but I plan to ride a Fatboy as well. Been riding metric Sport Tourers for several years while I was stationed in CO, but I am ready to make the move to cruisers. I look forward to reading through the threads. Thanks...Aaron
Welcome - where are you in iraq? Deployed there twice with the army and have 2 1/2 years in country. Also went from sport bikes & sport tourers to a harley and really like the fatbob for the two front brakes and big front tire which to me feels more nimble than many other cruisers.
Check out the parts availability on the Deuce. lot of parts fits everything but the Deuce in the parts catalog. thats one reason the son got rid of his its kind of like the basta$d son.
Lot of members don't realize that till they buy one..
