A recent acquisition at the local dealer has prompted me to become active on the bike forums again.
I’ve been riding since 2003 when I got my first bike, a 2003 Sportster 883. That got replaced by a 2004 Softail Heritage Classic and was joined by a 2007 Night Rod Special. Then, last year, my wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary by flying out to Las Vegas, renting an Electra Glide and renewed our vows at the drive through window of the Little White Wedding Chapel then spent the day riding around LV and Red Rock Canyon. We had a blast and she loved the ride so much, I decided that I’d eventually like to replace the Softail and VRod with an Ultra Classic Electra Glide, which I did last week. Now I own a 2011 FLHTCU.
A little about me…I used to be a software engineer but in 2009, got laid off from a job I had for 12 years. I decided I'd had enough corporate BS living in Cubeville so now I work at the Georgia Aquarium as a Dive Master. I take people on diving and snorkeling tours inside the big Ocean Voyager exhibit. It's quite a switch but I enjoy it and it beats the crap out of sitting in front of computer all day.
