New to this forum just got a new to me 2004 fat boy just back riding after 18 year lay off. Previous bikes bought and sold include a '81 xs650 bobber, '77 fxe shovel, and a '70s sporty with reversed foot controls.
Glad to be riding again hope the wife let's me keep the bike. I bought it without her knowing I thought it would be easier "to ask for forgiveness than permission!".
Aloha! We just bought 'our' 2011 RGU and are still getting used to the ride. It's awesome, alright, just a bit bigger than our previous rides. My husband, first: '86 sporty (cool classic!), then a 2011 sporty custom 1200 we shared. Then hubby bought a Dyna and I rode my own (I got the 'hand-me-down'! too fun to describe!) But, then, we traded both bikes in for this beast. Can't say it isn't comfy, that's for sure, just not sure if I like not being the driver.....lol
